Nikki Burdine is the morning anchor of Good Morning Nashville on WKRN in Nashville. She wakes up every day at 2am and is live on the air from 4am until 7am anchoring alongside Neil Orne. While working in Washington, D.C., Nikki received an Emmy award for her story on a rural school in southwest Virginia. She is also the recipient of several Associated Press awards. Nikki was also named a member of the University of Tennessee’s inaugural 40 Under 40 Awards, Nashville’s favorite news anchor by multiple publications including the Nashville Scene, and is a proud member of Leadership Tennessee’s 2024-2025 class.

Nikki Burdine has covered stories across the country, including presidential elections, the 2017 Inauguration, hurricanes in the Carolinas and tornadoes in Kentucky, the CMA Awards red carpet, the landmark same-sex marriage decision at the Supreme Court, riots in Baltimore, White House press briefings and fence-jumpers, the Philadelphia train derailment, several Kentucky Derby races and the NCAA tournament.
